AFL-CIO CONTRIBUTION OPTIONS
The AFL-CIO has a charitable 501(c)(3) organization called the Union Community Fund (UCF). The UCF is accepting donations for hurricane relief work in these areas for both short term and for long term recovery efforts. Checks should be made payable to the Union Community Fund, 815 16th Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20006. The Texas and Florida State Federations have activated their own relief funds and are accepting donations. Until they are able to process donations, the UCF will accept donations for Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The AFL-CIO is also in the process of putting the UCF on line to accept credit card contributions.
